I also have a lot of silverleaf nightshade growing in my area that have yellow berries that darken as they dry out.
The raw berries are poisonous regardless of ripeness.
However, they are traditionally used in a few South Western/Mexican Indigenous cuisines and medicines! (E.g. renet for cheese.)

This tiny lady beetle decided to hitch a ride on my dress yesterday, then proceeded to hang out on my fingertip for a good 5 minutes.
(I brought it over to my zinnias 'cause I needed rest, but getting to watch this sweet little one perk up and calculate its flight cheered me up. Too cute! 😭💕)
