Even though it's only chapter 1, I'm looking forward to the future chapters coming out. I think this is a great game to look at if you want to see how creative you can get with art direction for a game.

This game feels like a perfect extension of the original videos. But getting to see everything at my own pace does wonders for the amazing visuals, since I get to just stop and watch everything which I kept doing. All the characters are animated beautifully and have tons of personality.

I haven't posted for a while, aside from that I haven't posted about a game for a while, sorry got lost in the work sauce. I recently played ENA: Dream BBQ. It's very light on gameplay, it's basically just running around and soaking in the characters and vibes. But as a big fan of the web series-

Also one more thing I just wanted to bring up, the pixel art is absolutely outstanding, this game looks awesome.

The level design is especially good, with jumps and pathways which lead the player without them needing to think too much. Aside from that each world and stage have unique themes and introduce tons of new mechanics to keep the game interesting, and it's full of surprises till the very end.

Finished playing Pepper Grinder, it's a short but sweet 2D platformer where the main mechanic is being able to drill through surfaces and jump out. The controls feel good. especially satisfying when you drill through an enemy, since the game has a short millisecond pause to add impact.

Built the MGSD Gundam Barbatos, this is the 2nd kit in the line that I've built after the Freedom and so far this line is 2/2 on impressing me. The amount of detail and features they managed to cram in such a small scale little thing is crazy! This might top the MG as my favourite model of Barbatos.

Not to mention its consistently striking presentation of this story, playing with perspective and making use of the different time periods the game takes place in that kept me hooked. This game truly feels unlike anything else I've played and certainly unlike any other story I've experienced.

It's story spans multiple generations and time periods and asks you to consider all the details and things you experience from it to look at the bigger picture, and it covers so many themes from letting go of the past and what defines our own individuality while still feeling focused.

Finished playing 1000xresist. I wanted to get to it last year but didn't end up making the time for doing so. Glad I finally got around to it because this may well be one of the best narrative driven games I've played in recent memory.
