Using their own provided data, they’re claiming a BLL of 0.52.
The average BLL is 0.855 in the US which is 60% higher than their own data.
BLL also only starts becoming a concern at 20mcg/dL. That would be consuming 500mcg of lead a day!

They’re right in that any lead consumption is unsafe. But they are actively burying the lede in that they arent using Prop 65, most definitely for legal reasons, and the limits they are using are specifically for children and pregnant people as lead is a larger issue for child development vs adults.

First and foremost, their numbers are strange. The data is standardized off of serving size? They’re assuming a single serving a day but if you look more into lead consumption data it is all based off body weight or level in the blood.

It’s nice that all it takes is a massive gay block party for the city to actually put out a reasonable amount of trash cans and actual recycling
