Maybe because middle class women of a certain age are in a position to call out this shit without fear of losing a salary they need. And can do it on behalf of young women starting out in their careers who are just as sick of this shit but can’t say anything because they need to earn a living.

Just very calm about tonight. A Champions League game against Madrid at Anfield should feel bigger than this but it's credit to the team and Slot for getting us into a position where dropping any points tonight isn't a huge deal.

Agree with this. The knock on effect of the 3 contracts and even Konate next year is something to consider but the situation didn't suddenly pop up in the summer. Leaving it until the last minute will surely get into the players heads eventually and what if that starts to impact performances?
These Mo Salah statements are all part of the dance, I suspect. There’s no way they aren’t in talks of some sort. This is just a public way to apply pressure, but there’s an argument to say #lfc should never have allowed themselves to get into this situation.
