Y'all complain too much.
The fact that they're using those terrible Chinese pit bikes is hilarious. Those things aren't worth the metal and plastic they're made from.

Did you freehand those gridlines?? That's impressive. I can't draw a straight line to save my life.

That's very likely your issue then! Are you dual booting with both linux and Windows on the same drive? If so upgrading windows could bork your bootloader. If you're not already, I suggest keeping them on completely separate drives and using your firmware boot menu to pick between them.

Reminds me of the time I ordered a black coffee and the barista told me I could have just made it at home.

Aqua was so ahead of it's time. It's amazing that the same company that made aqua also made liquid ass -Ahem- glass.

Lol, camera goes in butthole. Real talk, glad it turned out well. I had my first one at the ripe 'ol age of 26 due to internal hemorrhoids. Those anesthesia drugs are something else!

I was just playing this yesterday. There's a sweet mod for the Steam version of the game that restores all of the assets from the DC version of the game. Honestly it looks TONS better.

I've gotten so used to my 3DS XL I forgot how small the DS Lite was. I remember when the DSi XL came out and I thought it was comically large.

Make sure secure boot is disabled in your UEFI settings. Nvidia's Linux drivers are not signed by default (but can be) so if secure boot is enabled on the host they will fail to load at boot and leave you with only the open source Nouveau driver.

We have AYN Thor at home. (It's my old 3DS.) Seriously though these things look sweet and made me dig out and mod my 3DS.

...and it would STILL be an upgrade for me because of the whole Bitcoin mining bullshit. Still running at GTX 1070 over here!

Yeah, the "all of my games need to have achievements or I will complain loudly" group are the weirdest. Just play the game and enjoy the experience.

Ye, I've been playing the fuck out of my 3DS this month.

Nice! I just downloaded the trial. I was looking from something non-subscription based to upgrade to from TinkerCAD as I had kinda outgrown what it was capable of.

Didn't the collective right just spend like an entire month pretending Kirk was a saint after he was murdered and also getting anyone who said an ill word about him fired? It doesn't surprise me that they contradict themselves, but it really does piss me off.

I miss the old Bungie.

I love how Microsoft worked really hard on the theme system in Windows XP and then BARELY fucking did anything with it only to scrap it all for aero. What a waste. The community did a stellar job with it though. Window Blinds was GOAT.

Master Chef??

Ah I had completely forgotten about these. They were THE "mini PC" back in the day! I remember reading all kinds of forum posts from people detailing how they were using them for media center PCs and servers and how they were modifying them for purpose. Look how far we've come in the mini PC space!

What a strange era for MacOS.

Good luck! I'd be glad to help if you need anything. I've been using Ubuntu / Linux Mint since late 2008.
November 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM
Are you using an Nvidia GPU? If so, temporarily disable secure boot in your UEFI settings and then try booting Mint again. For whatever reason Nvidia does NOT sign their Linux drivers, so they will fail to load on a system with secure boot enabled. Also go to the Mint forums. Helpful folks there!
