Certain people moving to Canada seems ok if their unique roles can't be practiced when there is a chill in US. I think of Snyder et al transferring to the Munk School at U of T. They teach the people that are being snatched for exercising free speech and their Uni is prob next to bend to Trump.

More and more it's becoming clear. Trump's policies will lead to distressed assets, which his cronies can buy up cheap. It's the playbook. Started under covid, perfected in Trump's 2nd term.

He's doing the right thing for his people. It makes me queasy, but I am not losing any respect for him...who would want to go and beg?
