Ghost of Yotei launched Oct 2 in the US, and Circana tracking for the Sept month ended Oct 4. So, 3 days of sales tracking.
In that time, GoY ranked as the 4th best-selling game of Sept, and 18th 2025 year-to-date.

In the US, PS5 has been ahead of PS4 on a time aligned basis for a very long time. As of September (month 59 in market), PS5 is ahead of PS4 by 4.6%.

So if Yotei's first week sales figures are roughly the same as Tsushima's, but the PS5's install base is smaller than PS4's at that point-in-time, there's a strong argument that Yotei is actually outperforming Tsushima because a larger proportion of the install base bought it.
