And don’t forget, the people who originally staffed the agency were people that were reassigned from other federal agencies; ie, incompetent and/or nobody wanted to work with them.

By run, they mean communicating our extortion demands.

At the end of the day, the regime sacrificed Maduro in exchange for lifting oil sanctions and being able to import new equipment for drilling.

Why else release political prisoners?

Notice how he leaves what the strategic calculus as undefined? I, Putin, and the Ayatollah ((maybe less so) are worried that they’ll be the targets of a snatch and grab. I is however looking across the strait and thinking, “maybe … what if … would anyone do anything …”

I’m glad someone else noticed. It’s like Trump has already chosen Rubio as the heir apparent. Why else would he name him as co-Viceroy? Trump is giving Rubio on the job training while his VP co-hosts podcasts because he has no responsibilities within the Admin.

Not only that, he’s going to actually hurt the US oil industry. Prior to the pseudo-blockade, the price of crude was below $56 p/b. Oil companies want the price at $68. If Ven oil begins to flood the market the price will drop, not to mention lead to retaliation by OPEC (which Ven is a member of).

Pretty sure AG Bondi already knew about these additional files when sh requested them back on Feb 27, 2025.

It’s irrelevant. It’s a violation of the Buy American Act. It takes an exemption from Congress.
December 24, 2025 at 3:41 PM
I want to know who granted the exception to the Buy America Act. There are only a few countries where embassies have been granted permission for non-American uparmored vehicles, and those exceptions took considerable effort including Congressional approval. It takes a year + to build one.

I cannot argue one way or another, but it is not the cause, only something that might compound the issue.

The cause was and still is the 2008 market crash. The RVs seen so prevalently in CA are from families who lost their homes and never recovered. We bailed out the banks and punished the people.

Townhall debates sounds more like an attempt to create polarization, not improve civil discourse.
December 18, 2025 at 7:45 PM
As if Vanity Fair did not conduct a fact check during editing of the direct quotes. These people think and act on these things daily. They assume the public will laud them, but if/when they realize how morally reprehensible their actions are they claim “hit piece” so they can further blame journos

The tragedy is that they are going to create a self-fulfilling prophecy. Continuous attacks on core American values and beliefs will eventually be perceived as existential. ANTIFA, which is a moniker not an organization, will be forced into existence because it will be a matter of life or death.

Or, more importantly, state “the President’s peace plan has failed.” And then consider reporting on the implications this has for the Administration’s other attempts to negotiate peace (eg Russia-Ukraine). Maybe their tactics aren’t very sound for creating sustainable outcomes- hint, they’re not.

And I’m upset that white South African Afrikaner billionaires have effectively taken over US political discourse and now manage large portions of US government via private corporations.
December 10, 2025 at 9:44 PM
What’s more is that it’s a blatant admission that the government cannot protect its own sovereign territory. If the situation is as dire as the NSS depicts what does it say about an Administration that after a year in power still (even with a GOP Congressional blank check) can’t fix it?

“All bad poetry springs from genuine feeling.” Oscar Wilde

To experience great poetry is to relive those feelings, even for just a second. Not sure there’s a better way to teach empathy.
December 10, 2025 at 1:43 AM
Except, this person lacks to understand the value of poetry and how it might relate to the their desired vocation of being a victim advocate. Poetry teaches empathy, communication, inference, and deciphering the abstract. All of which are integral soft skills necessary for being a victim advocate

I’m absolutely surprised that 1 percent reported anything positive. The respondents must be Franklin Fellows.

It did come with a FSA option. But it was cheaper to have people file claims then mail out millions of plastic cards.

Can I ask who has even been discussing this and why they think this is even a remotely worthwhile discussion?

He clearly has never read the original ACA. The bill originally, and still, promotes accountable care; ie, your premiums are lowered by incentivizing preventive interventions that lead to better outcomes. That’s why your annual physical is free.

Imagine if they actually conducted the substantive security clearance process usually required for all federal law enforcement. Which very much looks to detect CSAM among applicants.
November 19, 2025 at 2:27 PM
It’s still a loss. There are very real consequences to the ACA tax credits not being restored. It will massively impact every Americans healthcare.

The Epstein vote is a political theater win. The new investigations will ensure the docs remain sealed.

The House must appt a special prosecutor.
