Many weeks ago, Google made an announcement about using AI to create children's books. That thread was mostly two VPs yes-anding each other's breathless excitement over using AI to explain what they did for a living to their children.

At work, we have two AI-related Slack channels. One that's mostly software developers, trying to use the tools effectively. And another channel that's largely upper management sharing the latest hype-filled announcement article or video, along with an AI-generated summary of the article or video.
