Jake and Clyide have a pretty bad relationship overall, though thats to be expected. The two very obviously dont see eye to eye & that will be pretty evident through the next few chapters. But heres a small taste coming up on what their dynamic is~

Jake overall, is the brotherly type and he looks after Rose quite a bit. He's more concerned about her well-being and safety more than anyone. So no surprise why he's so protective about her. Its because he loves her. So he must watch over her and protect her. Clyide on the other hand is mostly just concerned about himself. Call it selfish, call it self-destructive, idk. All he cares about is getting back at Rose because shes the one who woke him up. Therefore, he must kill her then find a way to force his body back into recovery mode and simply deny himself the wake time. Eventually his body will die out... And then he will be with Homuna again...
