Disappointed, I kept thinking; “I can’t wait for this chapter to finally end.” and “I should just stop here, ah but there’s only one more page until this chapter is over. I guess I can suffer through it…”

Yet his Sherlock Holmes series is so very famous, and made into something great with others and their ideas, so I am at a loss…
