ultimately this is the "find out" stage for anyone who actively voted for the guy or was too apathetic to vote. We are not done paying for 2016, and I'm not sure how much responsibility you can pin on the current Dem party for the 2x collective bad decisions of the electorate.

It is financially untenable even for the greedy insurance model to continue providing coverage the same price when people only buy insurance when they need it but can't turn down people for preexisting conditions. The only way that ACA works (also universal healthcare) is if everyone pays into it.

There's not actually too much incentive for insurance companies to jack up the premiums because they have to spend 80% of the premiums on healthcare costs, though I guess you can thank the consolidation of medical providers for that part.
