My main objection is basically that dumb weapons have a place and with their deeper mag depth can be used to leap the uncertainty gap. But this doesn't at all invalidate a smart heavy force, and I'd argue in some denied envs, smart > dumb.

Dumb weapons can and will be jammed. Dumb weapons can be fired in some cases where smart weapons cannot but they also rely on part of the killchain that those weapons do.
Further, smart weapons present a multi pronged EW threat.

I think GMLRS-heavy is not particularly bad, but it's a legacy PGM that has bad assumptions about environment permissiveness.
