Yeah, I’ve never understood the fear of cooking a turkey. Mine always come out fine, even the year my oven died 1 hour in, and I had to finish it at a neighbor’s and run across the street in the rain to baste it every 30 minutes.

Here the rental ones are dumped everywhere, the company is supposed to retrieve them and doesn't, they'll be lying right across the ramp up onto the sidewalk.
A lot of them get dumped in the river, which makes a sort of statement, but doesn't do our water any good.
