Today, a new milestone is achieved: the community nursery is now complete!

It can hold 6,000-8,000 seedlings,and provides farmers with the means to diversify their crops, helping their land recover from damage and makes it stronger and more resilient to future shocks.

A few months ago, @Cédric Andriamananarivo decided to implement a reforestation project there in order to offer a sustainable solution to these issues.

We presented the first stages of the Agrofor Change project here, including the planting of the first seedlings last May.

This approach empowers local associations, creating stable income that is reinvested into sustainable community projects—such as beekeeping and food processing—securing a long-term model for local development and environmental preservation.
