Local and Indigenous communities stewarding nature are and should be our biggest collaborators: defining millennia-old environmental behavior datasets and guiding monitoring placement and interpretation for ecosystem health. Not just as consultants, but cocreators.

What we noticed was along with taking down the Dams, reforestation was a symbiotic approach with inviting native keystone animal species as well and I’m curious if that’s been identified here
