Honestly, it sometimes even feels like they DON'T want to do it, so they ask around hoping someone affirms their "worry" that, yeah it's too late now, better find something else to do.

It's as if they're looking for an excuse to not put in the effort and do something. Just food for thought haha

Probably still is... but damn does adding rain make them feel even more alive. Very atmospheric too!

True lol! Basically this:

Brain: "We did it!"
Fingers: "We still have to do it..."

And that's why commit messages >> voice calls/conversations 😎

I like it when games let me give a damn. Well, I guess it's "throw" instead of "give" in this case 😆

"You’re telling me I can plant carrots… and dodge arrows?"
October 11, 2025 at 2:10 PM
Classic dev moment lol! That's why it always pays to have one or two spare test machines (or even a good VM setup if you’re on a budget) for those "it can’t be my code… right?" moments 😛

Isn't this basically how playtesting feedback goes sometimes? Don’t tweak, don’t polish… just rewrite the entire rulebook 😛

Love this kind of atmosphere that you can create with simple PS1-like graphics. Great work!

That world seems to be lacking some oxygen. Throw in some 🌳🌲 generation!!

I guess that's an impressive use of C++ and a midi controller 😅 ?

Also an incredibly useful mod for those who don't find the game hard enough already 😆
September 5, 2025 at 7:56 PM
Well, maybe in the next few years AI will be able to do nearly 100% of the coding for us . . . for better or worse 😅
August 29, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Too accurate. The fact that we can’t NOT do it is both the curse and the magic.
August 22, 2025 at 9:10 PM
That’s actually amazing, and surprisingly clear for such an old 2.2” screen. And of course I am incredibly curious how you managed it xD
August 15, 2025 at 3:42 PM
It's always exciting when the Steam Deck testing part arrives. Hope it's going smoothly for you!
August 8, 2025 at 8:16 PM
That's cool; pretty too! Does it scale well though?
August 1, 2025 at 6:47 PM
This looks oddly majestic haha! I gotta ask though, how much/what did you modify to bring all this to the 3rd dimension?
July 25, 2025 at 5:59 PM
So what you’re saying is… your backup plan is emotional resilience 😅 ?
July 18, 2025 at 5:28 PM
This is going to catch a lot of emotionally unprepared people off-guard.

But hey gotta respect the lore. If the 5-star 0.1% drop-rate chosen ones don't emerge from porcelain purgatory, where else would they come from lol 😆
July 11, 2025 at 9:49 PM
See, the good thing about being an indie dev is that if things go south, you only have one person to lay off... for better or worse 😅

The path to rendering a single sprite always starts with the rainbow triangle. Now if only we can keep the FPS above a stable 30...

I think a bit of uranium too would go a long way. Heard just one gram contains about 20 billion calories (among other benefits!), great for bulking 😁

Oh for sure, there are entire courses on UI design.

Although yours doesn't seem bad at all. Quite functional, just need to take care of the visual aspect a bit and it'd be perfect!
