I never thought about the lack of heroes, but even in the original series, the hero fucking despises his status by the end. It’s one thing to see the wow cool robot meme, it’s another to actually experience it.

I’d highly recommend Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. It’s a six-episode direct-to-video series about a young boy who’s obsessed with war helping out fascist special ops fight in his colony. No background is needed and it has lean writing, great animation, and emotional gut-wrenching.

The Four Kings in Dark Souls because of that damn ring. You can either keep using the ring that does nothing except keep you from dying instantly when you jump into their arena (thus sacrificing some of your build), or you can inventory juggle right before the boss. I would paint metallic stickers if I had paint and knew how to do it. Metallic yellow and green paint markers are a godsend for doing eyes. Also yes, do panel lining! It’s a little effort that makes your kits look so much better, it’s dope. As for the nubs, try a glass file or high-grit sandpaper!
