Gas-powered leaf blowers are prohibited in Oak Park starting June 1, 2025. This new ordinance will help reduce carbon and other forms of air pollution, as well as noise pollution.

We hosted our first #CleanEnergy Open House Sunday. Attendees learned about electrifying their homes by installing heat pumps, electrical hot water heaters & induction stoves and got to see them in action!

OP-CAN hosted the first of two #CleanEnergy Open House events this past Sunday. About 100 attendees visited three different houses in Oak Park powered by clean energy to learn how they could #electrify their own homes.
