My art logo with my colorful eel mascot framed within a promo overlay for Vendors at Geek Girl Con. The overlay is made to look like a wooden placard with metal along the the opening. There's a badge in the upper right corner with the letters GGC on it. I've added a simple illustrated ribbon with the show dates on it, November 8-9, and some illustrated coins scattered around the edges of the image. The biggest coin says Table 48 and I reuse these coins on the next slide. An illustrated map of the Geek Girl Con show floor styled to look like a fantasy tabletop game map. I've edited it to indicate the route to my table and placed my eel mascot next to my table, number 48. I've also added simple illustrated coins atop the map to coordinate the image with the previous slide.

I painted the bones directly onto the model in Blender to figure out placement and distortion and then finished up the texture in Photoshop. I tried to find a compromise between simple halloween decoration and realistic bird anatomy and I think I did pretty well in that regard.

I guess I should share something I made here, so here's my Spooky Mingos recolors I did for Halloween 2022. I'm a big fan of tacky lawn deco like flamingoes and gnomes so this was a fun thing to make, and I learned a bit more about texture paint in Blender through it. shorturl.at/KQTja

I also make custom content for The Sims 4 which I post about over on itsonlythee-sims.tumblr.com (and a bit on my website as well). As a longtime Sims player, I've always wanted to do more than just basic recolors and the pandemic gave me the time to finally start learning Blender.
