And the housing crisis is caused by giving huge tax benefits to the wealthy and inheritors who then buy up all the assets and rent them back at higher and higher prices or push the prices of said assets until the country (us) can no longer afford them at any level.

Actually what is the amount they should have paid? Critics point out that Amazon, as the 3rd biggest UK retailer by sales, contributed just 0.2% of the £8.7 billion in corporation tax paid by UK wholesale and retail businesses in 2022/23 (from AI)

This is what happens. People are turning against each other. Meanwhile, we are not taxing the rich properly, making corporates pay tax properly, leave holes for tax evasion and don't get me started on CGT and inheritance. All this nonsense is manna for people who thrive on division.
