This year is a weird one. In September I will be the same age as you were when you left. Time is elastic but it never snaps back so you can get one more day. You would have been 89 today. That is also the last age that Nana was herself before her swift downward spiral to be with you.

Wouldn’t know reading this safer smoke free products accounted 40% revenue PMI in 2024! PMI world’s biggest traded tobacco company. Smoke free now more profitable than deadly cigs. But tobacco control perversely trying to stop smokers switching to safer options!! @aliveadvocacy.bsky.social

I'll add this: Speak for those who cannot. Take care of yourself so you are strong for others. Do the right thing, even if its going against the majority. The truth always prevails, but sometimes its a mess to get to the end of the line. Hold the line.

So tired of this idea that billionaires are our "betters" whose opinion is super important because they have a lot of money. It's bullshit. They're mostly greedy sociopaths who have no problem destroying people who get in their way. That doesn't make your opinion one to be valued, in my opinion.

Sadly, if the OS changes the constitution so he can be president for as long as he wants, I will not renew my US passport. I may burn it. It expires 2030 so we will see. Waiting on youngest NZ Citizenship ceremony...hopefully sooner rather than later.
