Do not stop updating, it's a security risk. Instead, learn how to disable the features of Windows you don't like, for example using the registry editor or tools like O&O ShutUp10++

We have to leave that decision to you, no apps are automatically assigned for removal or retainment. As opposed to privacy, apps are something some people choose to keep whereas in O&O ShutUp10++ people want to prevent something occurring.
