I've been referring to this piece for a while as "Masterpiece in the Making", since we are all just lumps of clay being molded by the Artist's hands, until His work is complete in us. I've had an absolute bear of a time finding the motivation to work on it, but it feels good to see it finished! <3

I hope you can all find the same kind of comfort I'm gradually coming to accept! It's not an easy ride, but I think it's one worth taking. Bless y'all!

Anyways, I kind of made this as an homage to that idea. The blood of Jesus washing over us and bringing forth new life, even when we were dead in sin. And I wanted to share this for anyone else who felt hopeless, lost, fearful, or just generally kinda gross- or dead inside, haha.

Been inspired by this phrase I've seen floating around, "graves into gardens". There are a lot of analogies for God- Potter, Author, Gardener. I think it especially resonates with me because I love gardening (even though I am so, so bad at it) and I love the idea of nature reclaiming a dead thing.

Man it's been a crazy couple of months. Been slowly reconnecting with my faith. Hasn't been an easy ride. I'm still not sure I'm doing this all right. I feel lost more times than not. But the beautiful thing about grace is that it's freely given and I have a lot of direction to refer to.
