For sure. But in my source Finland is for example 12th out of 40 in primary school starting salary. Don't have the time to check all of them, but teacher pay is really not the reason Finnish schooling works well. Saying this as a Finn who was looking to go into teaching

Not really. From quick google Finnish teachers have similar or lower salary then in USA. They are very well thought though. Finnish teacher of any level requires a university level degree.

Hmm the first time I was playing Traveller was with Pirates of Drinax (that we dropped after like 10ish sessions)
