I have +5,000 hrs "playing" The Long Dark. Now I love that game, but there's no way I've played it for that long.

I do however hop in and out of it while leaving it open on my PC. I suspect many people do the same, although most of us don't try shooting up a van full of detained immigrants.
5,106.4 hours logged playing Hinterland's excelent post-apoclyptic survival game, set in the frozen Canadian tundra.

I tried signing up to Criterion last week but I'm not allowed to do so from the UK.
I always liked the cursing in the Asterix comics. A Roman is rubbing his nose and cursing in Latin symbols. A Goth asks the interpreter what he said, and the Greek helpfully translates the symbols into square versions.

The procedure here is a little tricky, but if you do things right, the gas will condense into dioxygen difluoride (O2F2). And that stuff is awful. Ray Bradbury taught us that paper burns when exposed to oxygen at temperatures above 451°F. Dioxygen difluoride is so volatile that it makes almost any organic substance ignite and explode at any temperature hotter than 300°F below zero. It can literally make ice catch fire.

Front Eagle would have been the give was vessel.
Occurred at about 2110 UTC, which would have midnight local time.

A poster advertising "Sears' Trouser Legs", with the tag line "Don't call them 'pants'". Anyway, in the foreground there's a man wearing what look like twill slacks, but they stop about 10cm (4" for those averse to decimals) above the knee. To make them slightly less offensive, they have a natty leather belt to keep them up (I don't know how, maybe they're anti-gravity belts). For those of you concerned that that they're too formal, don't worry. They did them in denim too. There's a guy who could be David Hasselhoff (pre floor-burger era) sitting no a stool looking mightily chuffed. Because the 70s were f@cking weird, you can imagine that this stuff could actually have existed, but thank $deity, they didn't.

It's difficult to tell. The UI looks similar. When I tried it (apologies to Gillian Brockell). It's possible it's down to the version, but my version uses the suffix *"-style"*.

I think I've realised why I make so many typos. I'm so used to the code completion and intellisense when writing software, that I expect it to happen in normal conversations.
An example of intellisense for those who don't write software. It's basically magic that means we can be lazy and not need to know the name of every function anymore.

Back when we thought "it can only happen once", The Daily Show published a Google Chrome extension that changed the font and the colour of trump's tweets so it looked like an 8 yo wrote them.
Trump's tweets with a font that makes it look like your nephew wrote them, in a hurry because he wanted to go outside and play instead of doing his homework. Suddenly his insane ramblings make a little more sense when you see them like this.
