Former Producer for Serenity Forge Games. Looking for motivation to finish my own game. Enjoyer of bourbon, lover of books. Chef trained and current IT Network drone. I post about these things...and my dog...and I respond with GIFs...a lot.
I don't get to read as much as I want, but I get to read more than most people I know, so I count myself lucky.

Bardstown has a ton of stuff and the annual Bourbon Festival is there. I haven't been through there in a while though, since my friend moved out of Shepherdsville, but I know they have a ton of bourbon stuff to do there. Bardstown Bourbon Company is there and does tours and tastings.

Well, if you're looking at distilleries specifically, there is Wild Turkey in Lawrenceburg and Wilderness Trail in Danville. While in Lawrenceburg there is a deli called Heavens to Betsy that is on the ground floor of a haunted hotel. The deli is closed for reno and set to reopen in August.

I frequent Four Roses and Buffalo Trace quite often. If you have a chance to make it outta Maker's Mark, they have one of the most beautiful campuses I have been to and the on site restaurant is pretty good.

I just finished a dystopian duology about a community of Native Americans living on a reservation when the world falls into disarray after power just stops calledMoon of the Crusted Snow. It was great, no magic though. I am now finishing Memory of Light and Onyx Storm before tackling Shogun again.

Magic as in the card game, magic as in what magicians do, or magic as in embracing the one power and leveling a hidden keep with swaths of balefire? There is no wrong answer, just asking for clarity.

For what it is, it's good enough. For people who don't know Warcraft lore, it's enjoyable fantasy. For Warcraft veterans, it's a letdown, but could have been so much worse.
