Every worker has the right to strike. That’s the point. Don’t judge. Listen to them.
We all want the NHS to work. That won’t happen if politicians aren’t listening to workers, whichever group they might belong to

7 years is a whole generation of resident doctors.

It’s their decision if they want to strike, as it is for any workers. They come out with huge loans, huge competition for jobs, geographical instability + less real terms pay than predecessors.

They are still down 20% on pay from 15 years ago (not fully addressed by the pay award) and next year will take an effective pay cut again. They have massive shortages in training jobs and the offer given created no new jobs.

Any party wanting to ban the right to strike is not for workers.

This is the best advert for @greenparty.org.uk you could possibly have made. Sticking up for poor working conditions for resident doctors who are part of the backbone of the NHS, which is in a state - yes.
But without resident doctors it’ll be a lot worse.

Imagine for a second that she was genuinely concerned that we need more data for gender affirming care.

The answer would be to call for more investment in research.

Not call to scrap the whole clinic - the only one in the entire country.

Imagine banning an entire group of people from a competition for having an unfair advantage, knowing that:

(A) None of them has *ever* won a single medal
(B) None are even competing

You then make your point by showing a photo of someone who doesn’t even belong to the group.
