Over 100 concerned citizens of all ages were at Federal Environment Minister Murray Watt's Gold Coast office today to show disgust for his approval of the Woodside gas project off West Australia's coast. Extended to 2070, with damage to the atmosphere, and masses of ancient rock art dismissed.

Palestinian-Australian families and a Freedom Flotilla survivor recently occupied the roof of MP Justine Elliot's office in Tweed Heads. This brave direct action happened on Nakba Day (May 15th) – a day that marks 77 years since the violent displacement of over 750,000 Palestinians from their homes.
