Bit of a grind but the best sides find a way. Took some Solomon class, Piroe deft flick and Aaronson composure to unlock the 3 points. Good to see rotation. Ramazani still rusty after a lack of minutes, Joseph finding the net difficult and Gnonto only fleeting moments. All 3 will be needed though.

From what we actually saw last night it was a much improved away performance. In control and lots of through balls. The Meslier save in the early minutes was crucial to changing the usual script. Thought Boyle was excellent. Piroe sticking a couple of goals away was important. Build on it v Derby.

A late one post Preston. Forget the individual performances or the game itself. The concern is the overall approach and application in away games. Farke needs to earn his corn and sort. An opportunity now with players coming back to switch up the starters and get energy and pace into our away game.

Great game of football last night. A lot to like about that Leeds performance. Thought there was some lovely play and a number of excellent performances. Without a doubt Dan James was the standout. I suspect his stats since our return to the Championship stand up against any other. What a star.

Well yesterday’s game was pretty poor. Two overall concerns for me are 1) our drop off in performance from what we saw on Wednesday (our best) to Saturday (one of the worst) and 2) generally our away form. Some work to do, and promptly, but we’re in a good place to launch an attack for the title.
