I talked to someone at Habitat LA today, and he shared that this donation had come in among so many. Thank you to all who are donating to help people and animals affected by these fires.

I don't have the bandwidth to post about most of what's happening here with the fires. Unfathomable loss all around. Amidst such devastation, one light moment was seeing four hummingbirds drinking at my feeder. It's tough here for wildlife as well as humans. Look at territorial birds sharing.

If the TV were on mute and I saw this, I would immediately drop everything and turn it up to watch Jamey Johnson sing the heck out of Georgia On My Mind with Warren Haynes shredding on the guitar. One of the single best moments of #WillieNelson90. I stopped taking video there to just listen.
