Yesterday, at the airport, I saw a boy with his father boarding a flight. The boy was wearing an oversized [because he was so young] maga hat and military style rucksack. Looking back, I wonder if he'd be okay putting that hat on his daughter.

The basic needs of people are a lot. My mom spends over $1k a month in supplemental insurance and medicine. She's not sick. If that was the case we'd be looking at 6-10k per month in expenses for assisted living, which exceeds annual income at any point in her life. There's simply no safety net.

I don't know much about politics, but powerful people hurt people.

I was just thinking about this today and wondering what hotel chains are/not allowing soldiers and ICE to establish billets in these war ravaged cities. Asking independent journalists to look into this so we can inform their shareholders.
