#Green #blueskyartshow #snake #pottery I made this bowl in pottery class with a green snake around the rim and carved snakes in the middle. I used a translucent green glaze inside and painted the rim snake with a green overglaze. 💚🐍

Raku firing night! I'm NOT a wheel thrower, but I liked the shape of this piece and am really happy with the way the waxed parts contrast with the turquoise raku glaze. I've never had this particular glaze crackle, but I did treat it as a crackle rather than a luster. 🤔#raku #pottery #artsyfartsy
