Also, Iris' battle is probably one of the few battles in the franchise that genuinely feels like a challenge. And speaking of, idk why they only ever did this in Black and White 2, but it's really cool they finally added the option to choose the difficulty of the game and a challenge mode

But considering the story thing is already a problem on every Pokemon game, it's worth noting they did a pretty good job in Gen 5. I think N is genuinely a memorable rival and even though Ghetsis turning out to be Stalin was kinda meh, at least his battle theme is a genuine bop

They could've done a lot more for the story, and it still sucks that it feels pretty long to play, considering how grinding is *insufferably* long and exhausting in all Pokemon games, which just incentivizes people to only having a single pokemon or a full but mediocre team
