$250 million for production and marketing, it turns out

That's a budget and marketing campaign on par with *Disney*

I've been meaning to watch this for years because I like Ross Noble and just never gotten around to it but you're now the second person who's described it as "ridiculous" so I think I need to get on that

Well I guess I'd better get on that then eh

It's rough and still in Early Access but I love what it's trying to do so much that I'll forgive it for the times someone agrees to let me look around their flat then sounds the alarm because they think I'm trespassing the minute I step inside

They are, to put it frankly, scum

If you're a comics professional in some way and get invited to it, inform yourself and think long and hard about whether you want to be linked with them

There's so much info out there that people won't take ignorance as an excuse any longer

Brobexx, JekyllDraws, Ian Fay, Lucy Toner, Rebecca Nalty and so, SO many others have tweeted about DCC's failings and I can personally attest to the level of targeting one of them has received directly from the organisers for years

Right when there's a sort of renaissance going on for his work and art with Dragon Quest hitting new heights in the west with XI and his more niche works like Sand Land being adapted, it's just a shame is all

Potentially a shout? Less massive robots and more chunky mini-mechas but the super robot influence is there, just blended with a real robot feel. Kinda a moot point without a 3D printer or a mate with one who'll do the job for you, granted!

There was a bit in the article about the UK courts ruling the GRA block was legal talking about a prisoner who transitioned after conviction and subsequently got moved to a women's prison

What does that have to do with the Act? What's that bit there for if not purely to foment fear and hatred?

There's no such thing as a little Golden Sun, you hop on for a bit, a cutscene starts and by the time it's finished the morning sun has risen

I pretty much came away with the feeling of "what if Cube but less interesting". I feel like a lot of horror franchises get that way, they just have to keep outdoing themselves and it always ends up nonsense soonernor later

I hadn't ever seen them until I was told to watch Saw 2 as research for a TTRPG cause it's apparently the best one, and even within that one movie it basically drops the traps for a typical killer plot halfway through, I don't think I'll bother watching any others

A bit more day, a bit less grey! I just get proper miserable when it's weeks on end of overcast and rain but at least there's good soup during it
