You would typically right-click on those to adjust them, the controller should have a dedicated input for switching to a cursor to do that but I forget what it is lol

UI elements can be individually resized and moved to your liking in the HUD Layout portion of the main menu, the only thing not included in there is individual pop-ups like text boxes/journal/map, etc.

The solution to kids entering adult spaces and being exposed to explicit content is not to erase or police those spaces. Parents need to be more attentive to what their children are doing on the internet, teach them about the possible dangers and pay more attention.
