Reading about the celebration with champagne reminded me of these lines from "Positively 4th Street" by Bob Dylan (1965):

"You've got a lotta nerve to say you are my friend
...
You've got a lotta nerve to say you got a helping hand to lend
You just want to be on the side that's winnin' "

We'll soon hear that the "a lot of Ukrainians are demanding Volodomyr has to resign so we can have peace now"

I expect Sean Duffy will be reminded of the actual role he's supposed to fulfill.
He didn't seriously think the job was legit, did he?

When contemplating why anyone would "join the dark side" and fight for the emperor or King, don't ever discount:
1. Brainwashing a population to produce "true believers" who are willing to give their lives for the leader, the cause, the fatherland, the people
2. Blackmail
3. Enslavement

A daily fog of chaos & uncertainty. That's what we can expect.
We're going to need a daily "FUD meter" (just like the "nuclear clock") to measure the levels of fear, uncertainty, & doubt being felt by citizens. Every level of 47's admin will spew frequent statements intended to increase anxiety.

I was curious: "Nulla dies sine linea" translates to "no day without a line," meaning one should practice their art or skill every single day, even if only for a small amount of time. Pliny the Elder wrote it about the ancient Greek painter Apelles, who was dedicated to a daily drawing practice.
