Big takeaway is I think I'd rather see this series thrive on new experiences and with new generations than try to gain extra nostalgia points with the boomer crowd, especially when the latter is just becoming too unrealistic to achieve in the real world.

Realities of music licensing and changing culture will make a THUG remake onwards just too infeasible imo, but the skill and passion is clearly there for a new game. Why keep building them on compromise to appeal to uncs?

3+4 is as fun as I wanted it to be but it's inarguably built on compromise. New tracks are pretty great and new maps are well-designed. But everyone's going to have something they miss from the OGs that didn't make the cut, whether its music, levels or characters.

My guess is it either detects upscaling methods like DLSS, or it's just not very good at what it's supposed to do.

For what it's worth, that AI detector is giving me positive results from every random screencap I grab in the game. I'm not sure how reliable it is.
