I just trudged thru a Quora (shudder) thread on the matter... Seems there are many reasons for discrepancy between Maple and Freedom flavoured KFC. Superiority has been argued both ways, and some even say there's no difference.

There's a story behind it... Originally, KFC was licensed to a chain known as "Scott's Chicken Villa". Eventually KFC took over the branding somehow.
I have heard some come up from 'Merka and assert that it ain't the same. This discrepancy may be due to the backstory above... I haven't confirmed.

This is what I got from Alex's Haley's book. According to Haley's version of the narrative, Malcolm's experience at the Haj was a revelation about race for him. A lot of what was in that Autobiography led me to revere Malcolm X.

It was hard to find good Mexican in Toronto for quite a while, but that definitely changed at some point when I wasn't paying attention due to my "family guy" phase.

I dunno where Mexican food begin underrated is coming from... Stuff takes care to make and has so much variety you could eat it for a week and not run out of options.
Not to mention, the heat option makes it next level. I look at Mexican with the same kind of reverence that I look at Indian food!
