I got some in the winter Steam sale based on your recommendations, been looking for smaller, shorter games or run-based ones. I got Slay the Spire, Choo-Choo Charles and Corn Kidz 64. Haven't got round to the last two yet but I love Spire.

It's absolutely worth replaying to see the different pathways through the story. The variety of endings runn the gamut between bittersweet, surreal, darkly funny, viscerally disturbing and deeply bleak.

I cannot wait to see what this developer does next.

The writing effectively conveys the protagonist's constant nagging paranoia that any time of any day, a random act of violence or horrifying transgression is only seconds away. This is compounded by the harshness of its presentation, with acidic colours, crunchy pixel art and unnerving sound design.
