IMO brains are still developing in the 18-23 year old crowd, and they're naturally going to have little serious dating experience, giving a much older dating partner a natural advantage. All you have to do is listen to an older adult, esp men, *honestly* explain why they like this age group

She's young but not at home, surrounded by lefty/queer/diverse peers, and wants a Hollywood career. That should punch thru, or it would be so easy to be apolitical. Registering as a Republican in 2024 in a choice, but it's not aligned with her artistic choices. It baffles me.

Only ~1/4 of voters are registered republicans, so I think the median voter calls themselves an independent but agree w/ you otherwise. They identify with the conservative branding.

I randomly came across a comedy cop show from the 70s (I think). A woman comes in & claims she was raped. The cop acts all inconvenienced & uncomfortable, but sits her down & asks if she knew who did it. She said, "My husband." The audience laughed.
It was a laugh line.
