I've only ever consumed this show through YT clips and even though I've probably watched only a quarter it definitely comes off as a comedy far better than a prestige drama

I think it should be 'encouraged' at 2 hours (excluding credits) to allow some wiggle room, but required at 2h20m or a theater won't show it. Not even about length of the movie, but about length of time I can hold it

A Christmas Story & Christmas Vacation can both be seen as ironic inversions of boomer nostalgia revealing a deep bitterness towards achieving their supposed dream, as the patriarchal insistence on everything HAVING to meet an imaginary standard of 'perfect Christmas' makes everyone else miserable

A Christmas Story & Christmas Vacation can both be seen as ironic inversions of boomer nostalgia revealing a deep bitterness towards achieving their supposed dream, as the patriarchal insistence on everything HAVING to meet an imaginary standard of 'perfect Christmas' makes everyone else miserable
The impact both Yes and MST3K had on me cannot be overemphasized, if we somehow got a Python or someone from Myst in here the round table would be complete
