what i'm trying to say is, this achievement and number--as any other number, if you used to enjoy ao3 statistics (my rare pair stats 🫠)--has been made meaningless since ~2023 when adoption of genai slowly crept into ficdom, largely undisclosedly and unfilterably so

i don't have any insight into other fandoms (in mine, i think genai text hovers around the 20% mark), but whenever i search for works with specific tag combinations, without a fandom selected, there's so much of it to comb through 😔

didn't think you did, i just... don't know what else he'd talk about after such a long time :' it's nice to get in touch again via something so familiar and slightly irrelevant to ease one's way back into things, probably? and of course reassure people that little changed (on the surface?)
