The reason the detention centers are in Louisiana and Texas is because they are in the 5th Appeals Circuit. It's the most conservative federal court district. The regime purposely set these camps up there so their pro-Trump judges could deny the appeals from detainees.

The problem with the contempt move as I understand it is who makes the arrest ordered by the court. That usually falls to the U.S. Marshalls. They are part of the executive branch law enforcement, i.e. controlled by Trump agencies.

Apparently the sarcasm of my comment was lost on you. I actually do not support the reduction of Medicaid or Social Security. My comment was a jab at people who do support cuts and if you look further at the things I comment to I'm no fan of MAGA and their ilk. It's okay, I'm not mad.

Not trying to be an Eeyore, but this is the MAGA administration. They hate admitting defeat more than they do the poor. I'd be surprised if they aren't already coming up with a work around to get out of doing it. It's pretty much what they do every time the courts block them.

I have to admit I didn't fully know what a censure was till I read up on it. It's just an official admonishment, that's it. You don't lose anything.

Why don't more interviewers do that? When they don't answer your question just say "so that's a yes" and watch them start back peddling and getting flustered when you move on to the next question.
