I’ve been disabled my whole life and prefer ‘disabled’. I know some disabled people who prefer ‘differently abled’ or ‘special needs’ and that’s fine too. But it’s about having the choice and not having, especially abled bodied people, TELL you what your preference should be based on theirs. Ugh!
