I was vaccinated as soon as it was available to me.

But regarding mandates, I think vaccines should clearly slow transmission before being generally required. I could be wrong, but I thought Delta changed that dynamic.

I understand hospital workers. But as I recall, by the time of the Delta wave, it became clear that vaccines didn't really prevent transmission (anymore?). So what would have been the rationale for a mandate from that point forward?
