If this is your response to an error of this magnitude (being generous and assuming it’s simply an error), I have to conclude your field is in general sloppy, lacking in rigor, and untrustworthy

And yet, In Covid’s Wake quotes me as saying that “the FBI went beyond strategic information sharing and made direct moderation demands” — literally the opposite of what I argue — to buttress their claim that the government was too busy censoring speech to adequately deal with the pandemic.

The article says the measure wouldn’t take sales tax revenue earmarked for the T(or the school construction trust fund). Is that referring to something separate from the T’s 16% sales tax share?

For example, for the French Revolution, would your argument be that in the context of any economic perturbation greater than size X, the spread of liberal ideas was sufficient to trigger revolution?

In my field we use the terms “necessary” and “sufficient” to describe the role of factor X in process Y. My lay read of history is that basically no factor is truly sufficient to cause an event on its own, but I’m curious how you would describe the French Rev or our present moment in these terms

I guess the expenditures doesn’t account for population growth while wages do?

Am I misreading the charts, or does this show real personal expenditures increasing at a much greater rate than real income? (~45% vs ~12% from eyeballing it).

Isn’t that exactly it though? Lots of people watching didn’t get the allusion, didn’t know who Nimrod was, and guessed based on the context that nimrod must mean idiot

To be fair to the seniors, they only went for trump 50-49% in 2024; the strongest Trump age demo was 45-64, which went for him 54-44%

I’m guessing it’s because in a future with this level of service on the NEC/Providence/Stoughton lines, scheduling good service to Needham would be impossible and the Needham line would thus be replaced with a combo of orange and green line extensions (as in the transitmatters CR report)

Maybe you should submit articles of impeachment, then? Since that’s something you can do as a member of the US House of Representatives and all
