Two pink cures that should have been the MC over Blue. Trying so hard to be different for the 20th anniversary but that's all it is.

Wow... what a big piece of shit. LOL! I was willing to look past it for a while because Ageha is one of the best (sexiest) cures ever... But it's such a mess, no sense of identity, and it only gets more obvious the longer it goes on.

OOT had the brilliant idea to break up the dungeon progression with smaller mini-dungeons, instead of fetch quests and trading quests and cutscenes, etc. Compared to ice cavern and bottom of the well I think it's the weakest part.
Ofc this is very much "on my 2Xth play through this part was just ok"

Also the flow state thing is so true, each game has that moment that stops you in your tracks. I'd say the closest it gets to a lull in OOT is the gerudo fortress but you still barely notice it's not like the tedious stuff in TP or WW. But I have been thinking of replaying SS, it's been 10+ years...

What makes SS stick out to me is that when BOTW came out it was the anti-SS game. I hated SS at the time for bad exploration (dowsing) and baby-fied combat., but I didn't realize how good I had it with the soundtrack, story, aesthetic, dungeons... SS still feels like Zelda.

Yeah I guess the Fez guy and others were complaining about Japanese games being too baby-ified around that time, which is 100% a valid criticism of SS. Fandom babies need to learn to let go of their youtuber criticism trauma.
