Back in early November, while the trees were still colorful, I took a different route home for lunch. I saw these crepe myrtle trees at the entrance to one of the neighborhoods in town. I played with some ICM and got some I liked.

Another from my "Premature Fall" project. This one is called "City on the Hill." Amazing how when this tree fell, it created a little cityscape.

I put together a starter pack of nature, landscape, and wildlife photographers I've followed elsewhere and have come across on BlueSky. It is incomplete but offers a place to start for seeing inspiring photos.

Since I have to start somewhere, I'll start with this last post from IG. “The Shattered Tree” During our last cold snap/polar vortex, I walked around Carolina Bay before temperature got above freezing. I found this tree and ice, and new I had to work it. Will likely be part of my premature fall set.
