Let's see where Senator Paul's vaunted Libertarian Ideals land him when the funding bill is up for a vote next week. If anyone in the Conservative caucus will separate themselves from the party line it will be Paul, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

They don't live in the same reality as the rest of us. I was stuck with Fox News in a waiting room today and from them you'd think Alex Pretti was an unholy union between Osama Bin Laden and the Son of Sam.
Weird how their favorite Amendment suddenly doesn't count when you disagree with them.

I've worked with people doing onsite streaming at conventions, and those rely on a backpack full of different modems for every possible cell or wifi service, the output was still going out through Twitch or YouTube, and we still had a ton of downtime from technical failure.

The site isn't the problem, it's infrastructure: 1 second of video is 60 HD pictures. Sent over a crowded cell network. They get to the server and have to be stored and encoded for web streaming. Last the site has to have bandwidth for potentially millions of viewers. Not impossible, but $$$

Natalie isn't wrong generations are just dumb. I was a grown-up with a job on 9/11 and I'm supposed to be in the same generation as someone who had just started kindergarten? I know people who had kids at 16, a parent and child shouldn't be able to be in the same generation. Dumb and arbitrary.

'White Christmas' may have a scene that's blackface adjacent, but its predecessor 'Holiday Inn' has Bing Crosby and Marjorie Reynolds in the full, deeply offensive, kit. They sing a song about Abraham Lincoln the content of which is even more messed up.
